Blue
- Christopher Mullins An amazing and beautiful animated short by a brilliant talent in the 3d world. Christopher Mullins has made an outstanding job of this wonderful short story called Blue. This is the story of a small work robot on an orbiting scientific research station who is unexpectedly released from his charger in the middle of the night. Because of his curious nature, he immediately takes advantage of his after-hours release and begins to toy with the complex equipment around him. His adventure becomes larger than expected when he encounters a security robot in the hallway. |

Waldemar
- Michael Blank Originally from the Ukraine, Michael Blank graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York in June 2001. Waldemar, the short he created during his time there, won the Best Achievement in Computer Animation at the Dusty's Film Festival, New York. He also received a High Honours award at the Kalamazoo Animation Festival in May 2002, and was a nominee in several other film festivals in the US and Europe. Currently Michael works as a freelance graphics artist and in his own time as an illustrator and animator. Recently he completed illustrating a short children's book. He is currently in the process of developing another 3D animated short for completion in 2005. |

FX
Simulation - Mark Fleming Mark is now making 3D simulator rides for a new breed of simulators to come out of the FX Simulators fold in Scotland. Mark won over the most difficult of critics, his father. His hobby was editing texture maps for Half-Life. He relied on magazine and online tutorials to keep his skill level up and interest in 3d. He made a movie involving his other passion, cars. It had an unexpected audience; his father saw it.Encouraged, Mark chose short, high impact training courses to bring him up to a commercial level. "A couple of months after my training course, I had finished my first simulator ride." A massive achievement, one which will soon be experienced by 25,000 people per week on FX Simulation simulators across the UK. |

CGI and Animation - Local Artists Students, animators and local artists are producing some fantastic 3D work. The software is accessible and runs on standard PC's. There is a whole community out there working for both business and fun. University and college is a place where so many students start to learn 3D and we have samples of their work. Local artists prove to be as skilled as anywhere in the world and you will be delighted and amused at their work. |
