Animator tip of the week : UNEXPECTED COLOUR FLASHES
Caused by different pallets. Most commonly found when inserting a new picture into a FLC. The solution is to SAVE
a pallet from the original FLC to a temp file. ie: 1-temp.col. Then insert the new frame where needed. At that frame,
LOAD pallet 1-temp.col and colour fit image as prompted.
Animator PRO : CUSTOM .FLC SIZE
If you use FILE / LOAD / FLC to load a CEL or GIF, Ani PRO will use the pixel size of the image loaded as the
width and height of the new flic.
Animator PRO : JERKY FLC PLAY BACK
Some FLCs refuse to play smootly. Often a hardware bottle neck. Either the hard drive or the graphics card
is not fast enough. Alternatively you may be running out of RAM with a large FLC. Try using ANICONV.EXE to resize
the FLC downwards. Experience shows 640 x 480 is too large for most machines. 400 x 300 is often a good compromise.
Animator PRO : MOUSE POINTER FAILURE
Keyboard alternatives are available. "Q" to quit "Y" for yes.
Then RTFM (Read The Flippin' Manual).
