Get to grips with this exciting new package:

Low-poly modelling:
Box Modelling / Surfaces / Patches / Subdivision Surfaces
Materials:
Textures / Mapping / Special Games Materials / Professional Techniques
Animation:
Inserting and Controlling Keyframes / Linking and manipulating / Discover Helpers
Create Extruded and Lofted objects. Modify parametric parameters. Merge and use copies, instances and references. Create object libraries. Insert Lights, apply Camera techniques and add Background images.


Games Engine Requirements:
PlayStation (Psx) / Dreamcast / Sony PS2 / Xbox / etc.

Student skills required:

Some familiarity with Windows PC or Macintosh. An understanding of 3D and 2D graphics packages like PhotoShop or PaintShop Pro would be beneficial, although not essential. You should have a wide experience of playing games and a burning desire to be part of this exciting and growing market sector.

Trainer to student ratios:

No more than eight students in any one class.

Materials editor:
Diffuse Maps and Bump Maps, IDs
Opacity and Glossiness, Multi SubObject Materials

Objectives:

Training is based on industrial standards. Students will acquire an insight into Modelling, Building an animation, Designing new textures and discover powerful professional techniques. Trackview and Keyframes made easy. Working with modifiers and manipulators.

All models created on this course can be saved for use with your show reel.
Students completing this course will be ideally placed to proceed to:
Video Games 4 Max / Product Design / Video and TV / Character Animation
A certificate of attendance will be supplied on completion of this course.
